We place the cone or portafilter on the cup or jar in which you will serve the coffee. Inside, carefully place the filter and proceed to wash it with water at 92 ºC to eliminate any impurity that may be in it. We discard this liquid.

We add the coffee to the filter and check that it is not piled up. It must be evenly distributed.

We pour water in the center of the cone, and draw small circles with the kettle to soak all the coffee. We should not flood it, just hydrate it. We try not to wet the filter.

After 20 seconds of waiting, we pour water over the filter again in wider circles, avoiding wetting the filter.

Use a spatula to prevent the coffee from sticking to the sides of the filter. Stir carefully until the coffee reaches the bottom of the cone.

We add water until the level of the same is of a finger, approximately, to the edge of the filter and wait.

It is the turn of filtering, we must wait until the drip becomes very sporadic and, at that moment, remove the filter from the V60 cone.

Remove the cone and stir the contents of the cup gently.
