Put the filter on top. All Chemex come with a special coarse paper filter that removes fine sediment and grease from the coffee.

Moisten the filter with hot water so that it sticks better to the glass and removes all those components that we do not want in the coffee.

Empty the water from the Chemex coffee maker and put the filter back in place.

Add coffee and tap the coffee maker gently so that it sits well. I advise you to add a coffee spoon for each cup of coffee you want to prepare.

Pour some hot water with a kettle and let it sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute. In this phase we only want to moisten the coffee before preparing it and thus improve its aroma.

You can start adding the water, but always in a circular way for a good emulsion and oxygenation of the coffee. Apply a total of 150 ml of water for each cup of coffee you are going to prepare.

You can remove the filter and you only have to move the coffee maker a little and that's it! Now you can savor the exquisite flavor of filtered coffee from a Chemex
